We are pleased to invite you to an open studio with artist Hope London.
Originally from New York, currently based in Wigtown, Scotland – Hope continues working on murals in room 1D. She is an author of M Contraband Esq Punk Lawyer a comic book.
Hope works in various mediums from painting and drawing to photography. She is also gifted writer and performer, a teacher, and holds Juris Doctor from NYU School of Law – specializing in intellectual property.
Friday, February 26th 2016, 5-7PM.

“Art is how I relate to the world, observing, recording and interpreting what I see through the human filter that an artist is it is up to the viewer to comment and find personal meaning.”

This project has been supported by a South of Scotland Visual Artist and Craft Maker Award, funded by Creative Scotland, Scottish Borders Council and Dumfries & Galloway Council.
We will have few more artists join us for this year’s residency at the Carlton Arms Hotel. Stay tuned, the big opening of the new rooms will be scheduled soon.
